WAOW Celebrates Warrior Awards - Fourth Edition

The World Association of Women Warriors (WAOW) successfully organized its fourth International Annual Summit on Inclusive Diversity and Women’s Role in Leadership, held at the Radisson Hotel in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The summit was attended by more than 150 prominent women and men from different countries worldwide and across India.
The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Kristine Engvig, Founder of WIN Women International and WIN Conference, and President of Global Citizen Forum, as the International Chief Guest, who shared her thoughts on “Why Women Why Now” during the keynote address. Ms. Anupama Kulshrestha (IPS), ADG Agra Zone, also joined as an Esteemed Guest of Honor and speaker.
The summit featured an engaging panel discussion on the Role of Women Leaders in making the world more inclusive, with eminent panellists including Ms. Kristine Envgvig, Padamashri Smt. Pratibha Prahlad, Dr Harpreet A De Singh, Mr Jinraj Adyanthaya, Ms Shahwar Shohrat, and Mamta Godiyal, who also moderated it.
The second thought-provoking panel was “Are You A Victim Or A WARRIOR!” The panellists shared their life experiences, including Ms Sanjhna Nayyar, Ms Gayatri Chadwa, Ms Anju Handa, Ms Neha Khandekar, Ms Razia Khan, Ms Rajni Jain, Ms Nahida Ismail, and included interactive sessions with Acid Attack survivors, from Sheroes Hangout Cafe, who opened up about their stories which made audiences emotional.
The WAOW Warrior Awards, to celebrate the inspiring journey of our warriors, were presented during the summit, with over 50 prominent and meritorious awardees chosen by a Global WAOW jury from 1100+ nominations for their exemplary achievements and influential journeys.
The prestigious list of Warrior Awardees and Guests included the likes of Padma Shri Smt Pratibha Prahlad Ji – who was awarded a Lifetime Warrior Award, Ms. Lakshita Bhargawa, Ms. Deepti Gupta, Ms. Usha Rani, Dr Prof. Ayesha Farooq, Ms Chatori Rajni, Ms Pravesh Sharma, Ms Alina Zaidi, Ms Neha, Ms Ankkhie Mr Sandeep Jain, Ms Ayeta Annie (Tanzania), Ms Zuhura Sengeenge,(Tanzania), Ms Nahida (Tanzania), Ms Anju Handa, Ms Nutan Kashyab, Ms Manju Ravi, Ms Ragini, Ms Purnima Chanan, Ms Pramila Hingorani, Ms Monica Negi, Captain Ms Rachna Dhingra, Ms Farhat Bano, Dr Gaurav Guptaa, Ms Neena Goel, Ms Sayyada Ansari, Ms Kiran Kashyap, Ms Irmeen Farhat, Ms Hema Paul, Ms Jaya Nag, Mr Akshay Goel, among many other Warriors.
